It's like a good ol' throwback to the days when musicians would gather in a studio, ready to capture lightning in a bottle with their live performances. There's a lot of pressure to get everything right, but it also adds to the excitement and spontaneity of the recording process. The Sound Consortium in West London Town was buzzing during that session.

With just one rehearsal, they laid down four tracks and ended up with 5 (magic). This collection is a testament to the power of live performance, inviting listeners to experience music in its purest form.

BIO

Rich Evro Reid is a versatile London-based artist known for his work as a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. His music sits at the crossroad of Indie Rock, Americana, and Folk, incorporating elements from his Celtic and East European backgrounds.

Over the past eight years, Rich has been involved in various musical projects, showcasing his diverse range and creative energy. He founded the heavy blues rock band Born of the Sun, which released two EPs: "Peace n Luv" in 2016 and "Fractured Kingdom" in 2018. Additionally, he collaborated with his friend Ben Ivimey under the moniker Ivimey Richards, releasing the EP "Rainbow Bridge" in 2019.

Rich's solo career has been marked by several singles, including vibrant covers such as Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl" in 2022 and Muddy Waters' "Mojo" with Dem Blues Men in the same year. Recently, he released the "Bad Moon" EP with The Grim Face Marys in 2023.

In 2023, Rich devoted himself to writing and recording his upcoming album titled "A New Blue," which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2024. This album promises to be a journey of self-discovery and resilience, showcasing a more primal aspect of Rich's artistry and highlighting his growth as a songwriter, producer, and artist.

Apart from his vocal-driven projects, Rich has also explored instrumental music under the name Evró. He has produced two instrumental albums for TV and film: "Solar Roads," which takes listeners on a wild road trip of Americana, and "World Ukulele," an exploration of musical cultures from around the world using a travel Ukulele.

Rich's solo catalogue is managed by the sync agency Laurel Canon Music, reflecting his presence in the music licensing and synchronisation industry. Rich Evro Reid's musical journey is characterised by experimentation, collaboration, and a deep exploration of various genres and musical influences.
